Our Process:
We work hard to provide the highest quality of CBD to our customers, starting from the very beginning until they’re in your hands. Our seeds are planted individually in soil that our good friend, and renowned growing consultant, personally developed through his regenerative composting methods over the years. Once the sprouts are matured, with strong enough roots, they are hand planted out in our field with a watering system that gives us the opportunity to directly provide adequate hydration and organic fertilizer. The plants are monitored daily for quality control and no pesticides are used.
During harvest season, our amazing team tirelessly works until the hemp is hung and prepared for processing. Because of regulation, you only have so many days to complete your harvest, and the process is extremely management intensive. With top end Hemp, we focus only one acre instead of bulk commodity quantity. We manually cut down the plants and hang them to dry.
Once dried, our plants are bucked and the flower is placed in a special bag before being delivered personally to a processor here in Ohio. Using special equipment, our products are made using the Ethanol Extraction Technique.
When our products are completed, they are sent to a third-party lab for further testing to assure they are within state regulations. Please feel free to view our lab results by clicking on the “Lab Results” tab.
We believe in putting Mother Nature on a “weight gain program”. Our goal is to grow the best soil, thus growing the best plants. Practicing regenerative agriculture, we are intentionally committed to making sure all inputs are organic and not artificial.
We’re not growing 50 acres of bio mass whereby we would have to spray lots of herbicides, fungicides & pesticides just to get our crop to yield a decent harvest. We practice permaculture at our farm, which is the belief that all things should work together in nature. Our Laying hens and other poultry help combat pests, and are also part of our fertilizer budget. With the help of our consulting team at Soiled Obsessions, we’ve learned how to build and deploy Johnson and Su Bioreactors. These soil scientists have figured out how to build compost through and optimize fungal growth (which is proven to promote the best and most diverse soil health). We are not trying to inject all kinds of artificial into the plant. We believe in feeding the soil and building it up to be the richest soil it can possibly be, thus feeding the plants, and our bodies.
